In Celebration of Francis
We would like to invite you to join us in a moment of reflection on the life of Francis Grenier. At 6:00 pm (Pacific), on Wednesday, February 3rd, we encourage you to light a candle, pour yourself a beverage, and settle in with those you love (COVID precautions considered), to celebrate Francis’ life with a slideshow. While we can’t be together physically, we hope it will provide a feeling of unity as we recognize the loss of a truly vibrant human being - a loss that so many will feel for a long time to come. If you’re unable to make that time work for you, feel free to watch when you’re able and know that you’re not alone in your grief.
Note that the slideshow is approximately 45 minutes in length and will be accessible from https://francisgrenier.com/
As we continue to navigate this incredibly hard time, we’ve had so many people reaching out with words of kindness and questions on how to help. For that we cannot thank you enough, and have compiled some information. On the website you’ll now find the following pages:
Resources. Grief is incredibly difficult to navigate - both for those who are experiencing it and those who are supporting them - so we’ve put together a list of links that may help. Some of these have been provided by Adeline, based on her experience, and some we’ve found elsewhere. The innocuous day-to-day interactions can be incredibly triggering and it may be helpful to arm yourself with some information to make it easier to understand.
How to Help. There continues to be an outpouring of support, so here are some options for how to do so. There are so many different ways, so please feel free to do what works for you. One of the items we would like to highlight is the contribution of memories, so please make sure to check that out.
Again, thank you so much for your love and support, and we hope that you enjoy the slideshow.
